Recipe Notes
  • My all-time favorite recipe for white queso is from The Baking Fairy and can be found here.  Of course there is no shame in buying queso already made – I do that far more than I make it!
  • My go-to method for guacamole is a combo of pre-made and fresh.  What do I mean by that exactly?  I mean I use an incredible mix and combine with two fresh avocados.  It’s super easy and delivers a fresh tasting guacamole without the hassle.  My favorite mix that I use is Frontera Guacamole Mix.  If you haven’t tried it, trust me, you should!  You won’t regret it!
  • For a super easy cleanup, be sure to use Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners.  I thought I’d be able to clean up easily this time without them – WRONG!  I totally regret not using them today, but will for sure have more on hand for the next time I use my crock pot.
