It’s no secret that I love Target.  Like, I REALLY love Target.  Partially because it’s like 5 minutes from my house, but also because they have really cute stuff at really good prices.  I also love that their inventory changes pretty frequently, so you can always find something new in their stores, which obviously means you should make a trip at least once a week (or day in my case sometimes 😉 ).  My love for Target is so strong that even my phone knows I love Target more than anywhere else…when it detects I’m getting in the car it alerts me as to how long my drive to target is (as if it’s my house).  Sad, I know.

Anyway, because I love Target so much I wanted to share with you some of my favorite finds currently on their website that are perfect for an office or study area.

I have the Threshold Campaign Desk and I absolutely love it.  I have it in the red color above, which I was a little nervous about at first, but I absolutely love because it’s something a little different than the traditional dark wood color of everything else in my house.  The desk was super easy to put together.  And when I say “super easy” I mean “I think it took me about 30 minutes with nothing more than a screwdriver to put it together” kind of easy.  It has three drawers that are the perfect size to hold your average desk supplies, you know – pens, pencils, paper, gum, candy bars, adult coloring book, etc… 🙂  And to make the desk a little extra special, I lined the drawers with a cute contact paper, which makes me smile every time I open a drawer.

I also have the Threshold Carson Horizontal Bookcase which I also love.  It was a little more difficult to put together and honestly requires more time and helps to have a second person helping you, but still easier to put together than other pieces of furniture I’ve purchased before.  I’m currently using this bookcase as a console table behind our couch, so it holds some lamps and picture frames on top and some books and baskets in the storage areas.

The chair, lamp, rug, and desk accessories I don’t have yet, but I’ve definitely got my eye on.  I love everything gold right now so of course I was drawn to the Threshold desk accessories and the Nate Berkus File Folders.  And while I technically don’t need anything for my office area right now, it never hurts to get just a little more organized, right? 🙂
