My 5 Favorite Beauty Products for Summer

Summer has been here for a few weeks and I think we’re all feeling the heat! Some of you may have been feeling like it was summer for a few months by now!
Now that July is here, my family and I are finding ourselves outside more which means I have to keep my bag stocked with summer beauty essentials at all times. Over the years I’ve tried several products that stand the test of the summer heat, but I think I’ve finally found a select few that will be a constant in my routine for years to come. Check out my 5 favorite summer beauty essentials!

1. eos Active Protection Sunscreen Lip Balm
This brand is bar far my favorite in terms of lip balm! You can always expect to find a little round container of lip balm in my bag, as well as my nightstand, bathroom drawer, etc… For the summer, the eos Active Protection line is awesome because it’s the same reliable lip balm that comes in the little round container, but it also contains broad spectrum spf 30 to help keep your lips protected from the sun. The fresh grapefruit is my favorite for summer!
2. Coppertone Oil Free Faces Sunscreen Lotion
This sunscreen is perfect to apply to your face in summer because it’s oil-free! So often in the summer we can break out more easily due to sweating and clogged pores from the various products we use on our skin. Coppertone Oil Free Faces is incredibly lightweight so you don’t feel like you have sunscreen caked on, and it’s also fast absorbing. My favorite thing about it besides it being lightweight is that it doesn’t have that overpowering sunscreen smell that so many sunscreens have.
3. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer
This stuff is AMAZING!! The Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer is meant to be applied daily to gradually increase color. When you try to stay out of the sun to avoid getting sunburned, it’s nice to have a product that can help you fake some color. This daily moisturizer isn’t an instant-tan product, but rather builds the color a little each time you use it. It also has a great fresh scent that is perfect in the summer!
4. Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes
I always travel with Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes, but I’ve started using them at home too. Obviously, these wipes are great for travel because they come in a small little resealable pouch that is really portable. However, I’m learning that they’re actually great to keep at home too! In the summer, they’re great to use when you’ve been outside playing with the little ones or working in the garden because they help to wipe away the dirt, sweat, and oil before it has a chance to settle into your pores. And of course, the Pink Grapefruit scent can’t get much more perfect for summer!
5. Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes
The Underarm Deodorant Wipes from Pacifica aren’t necessarily to use daily while you’re at home, but if you’re going to be on the go during the summer, they are a must have to tote around with you! I have actually used these for quite some time while traveling for work. It’s nice to keep them in my bag so when I’m working long days, I can pop into a bathroom and do a quick swipe to feel refreshed. It definitely beats carrying around a stick of deodorant with you! In the summer, they’re great to have while you’re out and about in the heat running errands or at a local festival. The package they come in is much more discrete than a stick of deodorant and they smell amazing! They don’t smell like deodorant at all, but rather a lightly-scented lotion that isn’t overpowering. They are definitely a must-have for summer!
