Easy DIY Lint Keeper

Lint Keeper

This week has been a pretty busy week with travel for the holiday and a lot of things to do at work, so I haven’t had a ton of time to make things.  However, I did find a few free minutes to use my handy Silhouette (of course) to put a label on a cute little trashcan I found at the Dollar Tree.  At first glance, this little trashcan seems more like a novelty item than something you could realistically use for trash, but it actually satisfied the need I had for our laundry room – a lint keeper.

So, this may sound crazy, but my husband has this thing where he can’t hardly stand to touch the lint from the dryer.  It has taken a couple of years just to get him to take it out of the dryer, but it certainly doesn’t find it’s way to the trashcan, so I had to bring a trashcan to the lint.  Hence, the tiny little trashcan for the laundry room with the super-obvious label “lint.” 🙂  Also, it worked!  He totally uses the tiny trashcan for it’s intended purpose, which makes me absolutely ecstatic (gotta take the small wins where can get ’em)!
