Happy Cinco de Mayo! I was planning to have some awesome cupcakes that I made for my work Cinco de Mayo celebration to share on here today, but of course, the grocery store didn’t have what I needed to make them. I had to do something that I should be ashamed of – buy cupcakes from the grocery store to share. Normally, I don’t have anything against doing that, but it’s just so disappointing when you plan for something and tell everyone about it and they get all excited and you end up looking like an idiot with store bought cupcakes. Ugh – such is life I suppose.
Anyway, for day 5 of my Make Something May challenge, I once again chose to not take it quite so literally and I finally made a decision about something that i’ve been thinking about for a long time. I bought a new computer! Not just any computer however….I bought a MacBook Air! AAAAhhhhh! I’m so excited! I’m a die-hard Apple fan. I’ve always had various Apple and Mac products and my poor old MacBook that I’ve had for several years now finally bit the dust. Hard. So hard in fact, that something in the battery must have exploded or warped because nothing in it fits together anymore.
So, forced to make a decision between a cheaper computer or a super pretty one that I know is dependable, I bit the bullet and went for the new Mac. I just ordered it today and it’s already supposed to be here tomorrow!
