Sunday Style Faves

Lately I’ve become fascinated in the idea of a capsule wardrobe.  If you’re not familiar with the concept, it’s basically a compact wardrobe that’s comprised of pieces that can be paired and matched in a variety of way, creating many looks with the same few pieces.  I’ve seen some numbers floating around there for a standard capsule wardrobe to be made up of 35-37 pieces.  The closet space in our house is a bit sparse and I’ve found that most of my clothes either don’t fit in the closet or shouldn’t because they’re past their expiration date (either by style or based on the number of holes ;), so now may be the time to start creating my own capsule wardrobe.  Here are a few pieces that I’ve found that I think could be a good starting point.

Have you heard of the capsule wardrobe concept or have you tried it yourself?  I’d love to hear your tips/sugegstions!
